Any of you remember them?  They were always in our flour and cereal growing up.  We even bisected them in HS biology.  Then food manufacturers  started buying ingredients from farms that agreed to use pesticide's.

Well I bring the topic up because some found bugs in the past they bought a local grocery store.  I commentated regarding mealy worms. They were appalled and I asked if they prefer eating pesticides or nutrient enriched bugs.

I am obsessed with cancer these days and rise in cases.  I do believe it has a lot to do with the pesticides in our foods.

I remember having to check dry grains and cereals for bugs. We also stored them in air tight containers to prevent bugs from getting in. Now it doesn't seem to be an issue.

We rarely eat cereal so it mostly gets tossed and replaced. I do use rice crispy for coating on chicken sometimes.

I don't remember them being a big problem, growing up.

Thankfully, I haven't had any bugs in my dry goods.

I can remember one time, a couple of years ago...getting a box of Milk Bones for Jupiter...and there were some kind of bugs. Little flying suckers.

Happily, that only happened once.
