I've watched tons of Cocomelon. Kids love it. So we finally closed on our house. The last week of November. We honestly didn't think we were going to get it which was sad because we both loved it. But we did. We moved into our darling little house right before December First. It was hectic and chaotic. We still haven't gotten everything unpacked. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new house. It's so cute. We have huge picture windows in most rooms. A huge backyard for the dog and the kids. The lots on either side of us are empty. One has a little shed on it. Owners aren't selling. Owners aren't selling the other lot either. They are friends with our neighbor. He parks his horse trailers out there. They are very nice people. I haven't met the people across from us yet. Haven't seen them. They run a goat farm. We live out in the country. Behind us is a pasture full of cows. Sometimes they will stick their heads over our fence. The dog has a ball with that. She is discovering wildlife. Coons, possums, squirrels... So you literally turn left at the hayfield and right at the corn field to get to our house. We live near a lake and you have to take the bridge to get anywhere. The lake is so darn beautiful and serene. Man, I just love this house. It's on the smaller side but it's just the two of us so it's a good size. Did I say I love my house? Oh, got married December 3rd. We just decided to do it. Got married in his brother's front yard. Weather was perfect. His two brothers and their wives were there and his sister. It was really nice. We've been so busy. Grandson is a year old now. Growing so fast! Walking. When he gets really mad he rolls his R's like a Mexican. It's hilarious. Grandma and Uppa bought him a wooden picnic table for Christmas. DH did not want the title Grandpa or anything like it. Uppa is native Alaskan for Grandpa so that is what he picked. My daughter bought him a t-shirt and coffee mug that said Uppa on it for Christmas. It was really sweet. Life is good for me. Btw, did I say I love love love my house?

Congrats on the house and best wishes on the marriage.

I am not familiar with either of those shows mentioned. They must be something newish since the boys were little?

I have omnicrom. Or at least I think I do, I haven't tested. It's too icy out, tests ran out over the holidays with all the scare mongers, and I just got back from Florida. It feels like a mildish flu. Achy, sore/scratchy throat, congested, fatigue. It reminds me of a cross between a mild cold and shingles. Shingles being the achiness I felt right before. I even keep checking for a rash but haven't seen one yet. DH says omnicron. Who knows. And yes, I got the vax back in April.

I got Omnicron too! Over New Years. Testing sites are full for the next four months. I already am starting to feel better.

What are the symptoms? Daughter and husband, both vaccinated were sick while staying with us( they weren’t till they got here) plus kids, my husband came down with what they had and I to a lesser extent.

Achy, mostly around lower back and now my bottom a little, no energy, mild fever (99.9 - 100.2), scratchy throat which is sore in the morning, and now congestion in the nose and I cough once in awhile from the tickle in my throat. Yesterday I couldn't stand for long, but I couldn't sit for long either.

I think the difference was I had bad achiness and chills which I don't usually get with a cold. It reminded me of how I felt from the jab's side effects, with the chills. It is now developing into a cold in my nose. I still have scratchiness, but I started gargling with a mouthwash (Crest) containing chlorhexidine, per the I-MASK early COVID treatment protocols. It started to foam up so much I had a face full of bubbles, but I also felt immediate relief from the tightness. I also sprinkle black cumin seeds into a cup of warm bone broth and drink it. The seeds supposedly imitate ivermectin. It helped with my energy levels. Later I'm going to dilute 10% iodine to 1% and use in my nostrils to see if that helps.

I know, sounds crazy, but whatever works.

I've had covid, nothing more than a bad or mild cold. The O variant is all that. So over it and how people clog the ER because of the hype. Stop it now. People who will have a bad reaction would have the reaction if it was the regular cold of flu.

I know, it's nothing to fear. Even now in the middle of it, I've had much worse. I'm on day 4 and improving.
