Good morning! Hope you all are doing well, been sick with what I thought was a chest cold but since lost my taste and smell I’m assuming I had covid. Strange since I only had a mild fever for one day and barely 99 degrees.
I got my covid test today so we'll see. But it's been 8 days since symptoms began so if it's negative, I'm going to have my antibodies tested. I'm just curious.

My loss of smell and taste didn't last long. 12 hours maybe.

I hope I get my taste back soo, so far two day, I know it’s different for each person though.
My #1 had no sense of smell early on so I learned how to do "therapy" to help with that. Sniffing various essential oils over a period of time and eventually something breaks through and you go from there. I did that with myself and found something I could smell and branched out. There are certain "notes".
I may have to try that, I boiled some water and added rosemary and put a towel over my head to make a tent so I could breathe in the steam. It seems like salt is the only taste I pick up, but it doesn’t actually taste like salt, if that makes sense. Eating homemade tomato soup and can’t even taste it.
I will start with my perfume

As Trudy said it is freezing in our area. Tomorrow will be sub zero. Even Sonny doesn't want to run in the snow. He likes that. I am cold so keep cranking the heat. This will be one expensive month. But anyway, helllo everyone!
