I'm here infrequently. Busy with daily life. DS is on spring break for 2 weeks once school lets out tomorrow so maybe I'll be around more often.
I'm on FB but don't always post. Lately, I've been doing a lot of complaining about Brandon's gas prices. I would love to know when the "build back better" and "help is on the way" starts.

I don’t believe his version of build back better is the same as ours, I believe we are being pushed to buy electric cars. That’s my opinion though.
If I understand correctly, California is doing away with small gasoline powered tools also. Can you imagine trying to cut down a large tree with a battery powered chain saw?
I heard that as well. So where is all this electricity going to come from, they have grid failures already. They are so whacked out there I'm glad I left.

My opinion of him and his policies includes words I shouldn't be using. I'll settle for saying if his IQ were his age, he wouldn't have been born yet.

Sure. I can also imagine the uptick in ER visits caused by the battery dying.
Took DS to Out of Africa yesterday. My dad and grandma went with us. DS thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the critters. He loves giraffes and got to feed 2 of them. We also fed a tiger and petted a snake.
Prayers for you and GG Trudy 🙏🏻 Chef, sounds like a fun time you all had, we went with DS’s family to Kansa city to the aquarium and lego adventure, bush but fun watching the kids having fun.
Aww, Trudy. So sorry you and GG
are going through this.
The Social Worker at the hospital
should set you up with Visiting
Nurse assistance. At the very least
you need to be instructed on how
to feed him, keep him clean, give
him his meds, turn him to prevent
bed-sores, and on and on and on.
He will also need physical therapy,
occupational therapy, and probably
speech therapy.
You should not have to try to do
this all on your own. You will need
a very strong support group.
To what extent is he compromised?
Will he need assistance getting
from bed to wheelchair? If so, go
on line and look for a (used) hoyer
lift. This will enable you to get him
from bed to chair, with no danger
of his falling, and without throwing
your back out of whack.
I took care of my totally incapacited
Aunt for the last four years of her
life, so I've had a lot of experience.
Contact me either here or directly
if I can help with any other
information.
He is home. Very happy to be there. Have nurses in everyday. Today is a speech coach. I mush his food up. Bought baby food also. He works on being independent. I know what he is saying. It is hard.

Glad he is home and is having a nurse come in every day.
#1 was kicked out of the day hospital. It was triggering, he wasn't getting anything out of it, and they recommended inpatient again. Sorry, not going to put him through that again. Changing psychiatrist, getting a neuropsyche exam, endocrine exam, and going to start neurofeedback. All in a couple weeks so there's the waiting period again.

Wow, 98! You are so lucky you had so much time with her. Prayers go out to all.
My son is home and DH took time off work to try to do things with him to keep him busy. He doesn't want to do on-line school, but this morning mentioned trying to go back in person after Easter vacation. We had plans for the break, but I will be cancelling them. He just started neurofeedback treatments and I don't want him to miss any because it's important he maintain a regular schedule. We do know his alpha brain waves are slow to reaching the front of his brain so neurofeedback should help with that. He also has an endocrine appointment next week to see if there's something else going on. But for now, he's still quite suicidal but does not have any plans to act.
