Good afternoon fwm, got home late last night, had a wonderful visit with daughter, son in law and grandkids. Will be having our Easter dinner with our local kids and grandkids today since tomorrow it’s supposed to rain and Messup the Easter egg hunt. It’s cold here
DH did our taxes last week. We wait until the last minute since we always have to pay.
I planted some seeds and got the beds done earlier. Now it's supposed to rain a gully washer. I hope my seeds don't get washed away. Ugh. Tomorrow we'll go to the club for Easter brunch, as usual. At least #1 is still home to celebrate with us, although he lost his religion and faith.
Going to dye eggs tomorrow and hide them for DS. FIL is making his tacos tomorrow night. Haven't had those in forever so very much looking forward to it. Yum!

The big toe on my right foot hurts. I got a bug bite and went to town scratching it. I knew better but did it anyway so now I'm on antibiotics because it got infected. Yay me!
DH is having a lot of fun with the GMC app. It analyzes the SUV and reports on anything wrong. It's amazing how far vehicle technology has come in 21 years.
Got to HEB (grocery store) where
I had ordered 25 lilies and 4
hydrangeas. The warehouse shorted
this store on hydrangeas, so I got 3
huge mum plants instead. The head
of the floral department and one of
my favorite baggers got all the plants
loaded into my little Ford Focus, and I
was off for an 87 mile trip. Got to the
church in good time, and found that
one of the younger couples had shown
up to help arrange the plants! Gotta
love 'em. Unloaded and arranged in
under 15 minutes !
DH went fishing with his son, who
came in from Louisianna. Four 38-lb
yellow cats and 4 large blues. Guess
we're having catfish instead of ham
tomorrow!
