I hope all the dads out there have a spectacular Fathers Day. I got DH a shirt that said To the best dog dad around.
My eye is almost healed up. The stitches dissolved. I have an appointment with my eye doctor Wednesday. Everyone enjoy your weekend.

Going out to lunch with the family then will do something with DH for dinner. DS says he'll make DH a card but I can shop. Isn't that sweet? That kid has all the caring of a cactus when it comes to shopping for loved ones and friends for special occasions. Thus far, a card has not been made.
My boys didn't care much about gifts for others until they got a little older. At his age, it's still about him I'm afraid. One thing that pulled the boys out of themselves was when I had them pick out gifts for each other. That seemed to help a lot.
Lunch was awesome! DH's and my fathers enjoyed their gifts. DS did not make a card for DH. Instead, he declared that: "my presence is your gift, daddy!" and proceeded to whack daddy with his inflatable hammer in a live-action Roblox game. So, the guys did that while I did laundry and napped. Alrighty then!
Father's Day was spent dealing with #1. He was really bad and is now back in the acute stabilization unit of a hospital down south. His meds are being tweaked so I think that had a lot to do with it.
