It's my parents anniversary today. 45 years. My dad has requested that I drive them on their outing so I'll be doing that today. Fun!
We're 10 days into monsoon here and it's been pretty active so far. My phone has been quite vocal with all the weather alerts, especially at night. We had a whopper of a storm a couple days ago. I'm sure the SUV is a pretty shade of desert dust by now, lol.
Well, that ended up going south. The wires got crossed at the nursing facility my mother is at so she didn't get clearance to go out. My father picked up food and went over to the facility to have lunch with her.
Doesn't seem like 45 years have passed. Jeez, time flies!
