Another hot day here. I reckon we'll spend the afternoon in the pool.

How about you?

The pool guy is finally here. When they opened the pool in April, we noticed a very large rust spot on the side, as if the plaster had worn down and the rebar was rusting. So he's patching it up now.

#2 starts school 8/22. High school, can you believe it? I can't.

I'm making an appointment for the ortho. My shoulder is stiff and in pain. I woke up that way last week and it hasn't improved much. I even switched to using my mouse with my other hand. I suspect the mouse usage has something to do with it, but who knows. I know I'm doing something wrong but haven't figured it out yet. Maybe there are exercises they can recommend or at least do an x-ray to see if anything's going on.

#1 had a good day last Friday. They went on a hike to a cave. He enjoyed the hike a lot. We're meeting with him for a therapy session in about an hour. I hope the rest of his weekend was good, or at least okay. They seem to be keeping him pretty busy, which is good.

Good afternoon! It’s always exciting and bittersweet when children experience a milestone in their lives. Yay for for son #1 and # fnw, nice to hear that he enjoyed his hike and will enjoy many more.

I’m getting over a sinus infection I had all weekend, finally my headaches stopped today, still tired.

 High school?! Jeez, time flies!

I'm glad #1 had a good day. I hope he has more and more!

Thanks! Saturday he went to a lap pool and swam a mile and I think his endorphins kicked in because he said he felt the best he's felt in years away from us. He was bad again when he returned to campus but he wanted to feel that way again. Sunday he went on a ropes course and he said he felt good again, too.
