DS has been tasked with cleaning his room at his grandma's during the break. It's a pigsty. Whether it gets done or not ...
He cleaned his room at home before the break. He got an idea to label all of his bins and asked me to make labels. I was happy to do it. Give me paper and a marker. He also asked me to sort his construction paper by color and was worried it'd be too much for me. Nope. I don't mind stuff like that. I separated it into light and dark colors for him too, which he liked. He was shocked at how much space he has now that everything is back in its place. Perhaps this time he will finally listen to mom ...
Hello all! I seem to remember the boys having foot and mouth when they were little. I don't remember it lasting long. I just remember they complained of sores in their mouths and figured it out.
We're going to Utah in a couple weeks to visit #1 again. He is coming out of his depression and no longer wants to die, so he is making progress. Extremely homesick, however. He thinks he should be allowed to come home and get better at home. But it doesn't work that way. He will come home at Christmas for a week so I am excited about that. And a little nervous. His mind starts to go down a sad path when he has too much free time, something he needs to start working on. We can only keep him so busy.
Good to see you DE, how is your husband doing? Chef, your son just may to a splendid job of cleaning hi room at your parents
Physically, he’s great. He walks with a slight limp. Mentally, he exhausting! His short term memory is gone. He’s other cognitive abilities have gone from a 100 to 10. its heartbreaking. Simple tasks are met with a blank stare. I feel like I’m being punished for begging God to keep him alive. Yes, I know that sounds horrible, but it’s truth.
Hi all. My biological dad died in prison. They won't tell us how or why. Only asked if we wanted to claim the body. No one did. My mom and dad are doing well. They're getting ready to move to an assisted living and are really excited about it. It will be good for them. I am enjoying whatever days I have left with dad. I'm doing really well. So is DH. Been keeping the grandbaby a lot. He loves his Uppa. His Uppa got a hug before me. Dang it. Anyway, that's about it. Hope everyone is doing well.
