He gets up. House bound. Working on appointments for Friday. He wants to go alone. He always has. I just don’t trust the whole thing but I’ll let him be independent.

Had double surgery on my
right eye yesterday. Typical
cataract removal, but then
she did a totally new procedure
to help with the glaucoma.
The was the first time my
surgeon had done this pro-
cedure (and she told me so),
and the specialist who had
been mentoring her was in
the OR when she did it.
They don't put the patient
"out", just in la-la land, so
you can hear everything that
is said. The specialist was very
supportive, and praised her
work and technique. What
they do is insert a miniscule
probe into the "drain" for
the to get rid of the excess
fluid that builds up pressure,
sort of like a "roto-rooter".
Even just a little reduction
in the pressure is helpful.
Beautiful "designer" eye patch
for the next week, but I should
notice a big difference by Friday.
