TOTALLY GEEKED!

We woke up to 30 degrees. That's the coldest it's been in a while. Heading for a high of 50, which is below normal for this time of year. I can't complain. Our winter has been mild this year. Not much happening today. I hope everyone has a nice Friday!

Any thoughts on fixing me? I don't have a sore throat, I'm not sick, no cough no fever. Also no voice. Like seriously - nothing above a whisper. Fix me?

A beautiful day, in North Texas! In the 70's! Wayne went for a bike ride. I grilled New York Strips, and salmon, with sherry rice and spinach puff, for lunch. What a nice day. I hope all my pretties are as lucky as we are!

Did everyone have a romantic evening? My day is off to a great start. I spent five minutes (literally - made a pot of coffee) trying to get my shower hot, and it just wouldn't. I started worrying about the hot water tank. I'd turned on the wrong tap ...

Now we have a proper Monday thread. I just got some bad news, although not surprising. Seems I officially have Lupus. Doctor will begin treatment on the 28th. The rain is not stopping. It's a blah kind of day.

We have the first bluebonnet blossom! And the purple wild phlox are a riot of color along the roadsides. Coming into greenery are the Arizona Ash, a local tree. A sure sign of spring !

There is no host again this year. I don't like this format. I'm losing track of things and presenters just pop up with trophies now and again. The musical numbers seem random. We got a good 2+ inches in about 2 hours. It's melting now, but we may get a second round later. The freezing on Bridges and overpasses will be an issue. Hopefully, everyone will sit their butts at home. Making buffalo shredded chicken and roasted potatoes for dinner. Happy Saturday.

Morning all on this snowy icy morning. School is cancelled and sleet and freezing rain may keep going until tomorrow night. I am house sitting for famlly and have access to a fully stocked baking pantry. What should I make? Right now I'm thinking these, but I always wind up with short little stumpy muffins rather than the pretty ones with the muffin tops. https://www.tasteandtellblog.com/cinnamon-muffins/
