Going Christmas shopping. I pretty much know what I'm getting, it's just finding it. The gifts will be comfort related. Have a great day, ya'll.

It's warmed up, too. The wind has shifted. Happy Sunday.

Looks like most the country is dealing with the same storm system. We have the rain and wind. The parades have been called off.

Wow! Tomorrow is the last day of November. Time is flying by! Nice, sunny day here. Our high will be 77, which is warm for us. I hope to get outside to enjoy it. Have a great day, everyone!

Today is the funeral for my Friend's BF. He had made arrangements before he passed. He always wanted to go to New Orleans but never made it. The services are at chapel on the grounds of the cemetery. We will be walking from the chapel to the graveside lead by a New Orleans band as they do in New Orleans....

I had a concerning reaction a few weeks ago after eating lobster bisque. I did one of those food sensitivity tests where you mail a few strands of hair in to a lab. Yep, lobster was at the top of the list! Grrrr! Also milk, corn, avacado, pineapple, and sodium nitrate. I have an appointment Wednesday wit...

Many people in my area, including me received this 3 X 5 index card in our mailboxes, no message just the card. We have no idea why. Obviously sent from the PO. What a waste of money! This is not my address. I tossed the one I received. Did anyone else receive this? On the flip side was just a lined inde...

And, I fear that Ohio State is going to lose to Michigan. Fingers crossed that they can pull off the upset. Sunny and mild. After the game, I'll put up the outside lights. Have a great day, everyone!

No cooking today! Eat the leftovers, or starve! That's their choice. Mowing the lawn for the last time this year. I hope to trim the front bushes, and clean up the garden, so I can put up the Christmas lights tomorrow. Sunny, and heading for a high of 72, today and tomorrow. We might as well get it done, whi...

There's a huge accident at the intersection I need to get on the main highway to go into town. DD and I are stalking the traffic cameras online waiting for it to clear up. The only way around would be to take the creepy road to further down the highway and do a 50 mile detour via I-95. The reason for no alt rou...

I really need to get to Kroger and get the rest of the stuff for our feast. I'm not feeling very motivated. Maybe I'll go after I drop Cate off at 1. The garage door repair isn't going as well as we had hoped. It goes up just fine. When it comes down, it doesn't want to stay down. So, Wayne has some ideas on what n...

Question for the smart geeks ... My building is really old and a cast iron pipe in the foundation has broken. My neighbours place flooded, but mine didn't. Not too much to do today. I should probably work on my grocery list for Thanksgiving. We got the turkey yesterday. It's thawing in the fridge. Cold and gray here today. A good day to hibernate. I hope everyone has a good day!
