They are finishing up today. It's beautiful! This weekend we'll be moving our stuff back in and getting rid of the Pod sitting on the driveway! The sun decided to come out today. It's cold, but at least pretty outside.

So now that I have a lot of time off through January 6th I want to take a short trip. Where do I go? It would be by myself. I could drive up to the mountains and stay a spa and go skiing or Pigeon Forge? or Outerbanks Or St Pete's?

There is an AWFUL bug going around. Not the flu, as I got my shot, but it feels just that bad. High temp (103+), explosive diarrhea, and muscle aches. From 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, to 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, I lost 10+ pounds. Yes, I could stand to lose the weight, but not this way. Wash your hand often, an...

Okay so. I'm going to Indonesia after Christmas and am stuck on what to pack. It's going to be a catamaran trip around some of the lesser known southeastern islands, far away from Bali and Jakarta. Has anyone been there? I know that the majority of the trip will be on water and on beaches. But, there w...

My hospital usually puts on a nice Christmas party every year for the employees. This year the kitchen is under renovations. So we are having breakfast instead of lunch. Catered. By golden corral. What are your favorite "additions" to regular Thanksgiving sides? I always add cooked sausage and raisins to our regular stuffing recipe. For our appetizers, I add humongous amounts of wasabi to my regular cOocktail sauce,. For dessert, I always add bourbon to our pecan pies.

There is snow in the forecast for Sunday. Maybe. In some parts of the lower mainland. Not here. BUT, that doesn't stop the radio stations from making a huge deal about how this weather system to the south east of us *might* move close enough that the outer parts of the lower mainland (2hrs from the co...
