Sunny Southern Sunday
(Preview)
Sun came up bright, and at full power this morning. I really tweaked my back yesterday, left side, all the way down my leg, feels like a long cramp. But, it'll get better. Hope everyone is enjoying their day. Happy Sunday.

What do you listen to when cleaning?
(Preview)
Music is always on when I'm cleaning, today it's music from the 80s. Vacuuming is much more fun with the Beastie Boys. What about you? What's your cleaning jam/jams?

Time for a Snooze Saturday
(Preview)
Got up at oh-dark-thirty to drive up to the highway to cheer our Wounded Warriors on as they drove in a bus caravan from BAMC (Brook Army Medical Center) to the coast for their annual fishing trip. In years past, they left BAMC around 8:00 a.m., so they passed through my town around 8:45 or so, and ther...

Wet Wednesday
(Preview)
Storms rolled through this morning. More are on the way. No walk for me. I guess I'll ride my exercise bike instead. I have an eye doctor appointment at 10. And a dishwasher repair man coming sometime between noon and 4. (It runs just fine. The rail that hold the top rack broke on one side.) Other than that...

Tipsy Tuesday!

I don't know why. Just because. I didn't get as much done yesterday as I had hoped. I wasted two and a half hours on an oil change and tire rotation at the Ford dealership. Never again! If Wayne has the bright idea to take The Beast to Ford for service, he can bloody well do it himself. I'll go to Road Runner...

Busy Monday!
(Preview)
I got up at 5, and got my walk in. I'm going to hit the shower, and take "The Beast" in for an oil change and tire rotation. (I want to make sure it's in good shape before I leave for my trip on Thursday.) I have an appointment for a hair cut at one. I need to figure out what I want to make for dinner, and stop at Krog...

Saturated Saturday!

More rain. Just what we didn't need, right about now. I hope the Houston area isn't getting this. They were flooding, last time I looked. On the bright side, our weekend shouldn't be a total wash out. The rain is supposed to end by noon. Then, we should dry out, and have a nice day on Sunday. (Fingers cross...

Not really. Just way colder than normal, for us. Had to turn on the heat. Only heading for a high of 62* today. Had a fun visit with my sister. So much fun, I slept through my alarm and didn't wake up till 7am. That almost never happens to me. I must have needed the sleep. Skipping the walk today. I'll get plen...

Trump is Rocking the Cost of Pharmaceuticals industry decrease

Just saying. it is a known fact that consumer prices 'scripts on a lot of cheap medication have increase 1000% fold since the establishment of the ACA. Trump is dismantling that. Foggy Thursday
(Preview)
It's foggy and misty out. It should burn off by about 10 am. My sister Irene is in Dallas on business. She's coming over for dinner tonight. Shrimp Creole over Cheese Grits. Frozen Blue Margaritas. Maybe I'll snag a Key Lime pie for dessert. I'm so excited to see her! I hope everyone has a good day!

Why Didn't I Get One of These Years Ago?
(Preview)
It's called a garden kneeler/seat. I'm going to plant flowers for my mom, when I go to Ohio next week. And I was worried about how I was going to get up and down off the ground. (Bad back. Left hip isn't 100%) This gizmo is going to make it so much easier. I plan to use it for chores at home, too. My lower cabin...

We had a nice weekend. Played outside with Cate so much, I barely had time to get on the computer. I got my morning walk in. I trip to Home Depot is next on my list. I need more mulch for the garden and I need a new light for my dryer. I will probably putter in the garden until it gets too hot. Heading for a high of 8...

Nurses, I have a question
(Preview)
I tried to Google but I never found an answer. So. Can being around a pregnant woman cause another woman to start her period? I haven't had a period for almost 2 years, but, after spending a lot of time with Caitlyn, wouldn't you know it? Curious if it's a pheromones thing.

Feeling Good Friday!
(Preview)
The weekend is almost here! Yay! I got my morning walk in. The mother ducks were busy with their ducklings this morning. I get a charge out of seeing them grow. I'm planning one of my crazy road trips to Ohio. I'm hoping to see Oh4 and G along the way. I need to hit the shower. Another play date with Cate today...

Google searches that might be misunderstood
(Preview)
Ever wonder how your Google search history could look to others? Example, I'm watching one of those true crime tv shows, and they are talking about a cadaver dog indicating a body around a cement block, and now I'm curious about how deep a body would have to be buried so a dog couldn't find it. Then I think...

It's so freaking ugly, and yes, it's technically on t...
