Ticklish Tuesday
(Preview)
Don't know why its ticklish - just sounded good. Totally fogged in today. One of my friends just barely missed getting T-boned by a tractor-trailer. She was stopped at a light, and when it turned green for her to make a left turn, out of an abundance of caution she waited a couple of seconds, and sure e...

I don't have to work today due to a light surgery schedule. Thinking I might go for a long walk on the trail before it rains. I bought new running shoes yesterday so now I feel obligated to exercise, lol.

Friday's Dig Out
(Preview)
Yup, everyone is digging out from the blizzard. We ended up with 8+ inches, drifts are very deep and long. A neighbor (bless his soul) used his snow blower to clear all the neighborhood sidewalks. Now the guys with the big tractors are coming in to clear the driveways. We have a 40 foot long, 4 foot deep dr...

Saturday salon day
(Preview)
The rains have gone north and east, but that fog last night was crazy. Less than a quarter mile visibility from around 5ish yesterday until this morning. Thankfully, it is clearing quickly. Taking Monster to the groomers, think I'll get a haircut, too, while out. The sun is shining! Happy Saturd...

Thursdays Blizzard
(Preview)
Yup, we have whiteout conditions with 5 inches of fresh snow. We are forecast to get another 5-8 inches yet today. The wind is howling. No travel advised. That means DD and DGD are stuck in the city until tomorrow at least. The hospital did offer them the room for another 24 hours free of charge, but they w...

PSA - UPS tracking numbers

Just an FYI for those trying to track missing packages UPS does not use "Ohs" in their tracking numbers, just zeros. So if you have to give someone a tracking number, remember there are only zeros, no Ohs.

Christmas Music
(Preview)
I have GOT to give a great big shout out to our Music Director. His confidence in our small choir is amazing! His first two initials would make us refer to him as a doctor, so we call him "Doc". Today, along with the traditional standards, he distributed a new, 11-page piece of music - take-offs on so...
